COLOGNE, Germany, Oct. 4-8, 2025 – As the world’s largest food industry gathering, Anuga 2025 was grandly held at the Cologne Exhibition Center, attracting approximately 8,000 exhibitors from 110 countries.
At this event known as the "Olympics of the Food Industry," Baoji Nutr-Tech Co., Ltd. shared the stage with global industry leaders, presenting the latest achievements in Chinese nutritional science to international professional visitors.

01 Global Stage
Anuga 2025 set a historic record since its inception, with a total exhibition area of 290,000 square meters—equivalent to the size of 40 standard soccer fields.
This year’s event was not only the largest food exhibition in the history of Koelnmesse and the world but also the global B2B trade fair with the highest number of exhibitors.
The Chinese delegation reached a milestone with 650 companies participating for the first time, becoming a highlight of this year’s exhibition.
Among them, the China Food and Native Produce Import and Export Chamber of Commerce (CFNA) organized 128 Chinese food companies to exhibit, with a total area of approximately 1,200 square meters, covering multiple core categories such as canned foods, grains and oils, seasonings, and frozen foods.

“Anuga is more than just a regular trade fair — it is the hub platform, source of inspiration, and benchmark for trends in the global food industry,” said Gerald Böse, President and CEO of Koelnmesse, regarding this year’s event.
The share of international visitors reached 94%, providing exhibitors with unparalleled global business development opportunities.
This figure solidifies Anuga’s position as a barometer for the global food industry, making it an ideal platform for companies to enter the international market.

03 Innovation Trends
This year’s Anuga optimized its hall layout, with the newly established “Anuga Alternatives” (alternative protein section) located in Hall 1, seamlessly connected to the “Anuga Fine Food” comprehensive food section spanning multiple halls.
Global food innovation took center stage, with the Anuga Trend Zone releasing real-time market insights, and the Anuga Taste Innovation Show presenting the top innovative products of 2025.
These innovative zones, together with the display area featuring over 100 startups, jointly created the “Innovation Avenue” — a core convergence point for food trends and investment opportunities.
Meanwhile, South Korea, as the partner country, organized more than 100 exhibitors to showcase its traditional fermented foods and modern food technology solutions in alternative proteins, smart agriculture, and digital supply chains.
04 Industry Dialogue
The exhibition gathered numerous government officials and industry decision-makers, including Alois Rainer, German Minister of Agriculture, Food and Domestic Affairs, and Miryung Song, South Korean Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
The attendance of ambassadors from multiple countries further elevated the event’s status as a driver of the global food economy.
Simultaneously, innovative products from various international companies also shone brightly at the exhibition.
Frostkrone Food Group launched its latest finger-food creations, including Cheesy Loops and Pizza Squares suitable for both retail and food service.
Vietnam’s Luong Quoi Coconut Company showcased its complete coconut product line, from coconut water to coconut milk beverages and virgin coconut oil, reflecting the grasp of the plant-based food trend.
05 Chinese Presence
Chinese exhibitors were fully engaged at the event, presenting high-quality products rooted in Chinese dietary culture to welcome global buyers.
China’s total agricultural import and export trade volume from January to August 2025 reached USD 201.71 billion, with agricultural exports amounting to USD 65.81 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1%.
This data demonstrates the vitality of China’s food industry and its competitiveness in the global market.
Beyond the exhibition, Anuga’s global network continues to expand: its nine exhibition events held in China, Brazil, India, Japan, Thailand, and recently in Italy and Spain have collectively attracted approximately 16,000 exhibiting companies and 400,000 professional visitors.
This indicates the continuous growth and integration of the global food industry ecosystem.
As Anuga 2025 concluded successfully, the city of Cologne on the banks of the Rhine has once again proven its status as the central stage for the global food industry.
