Acerola cherry extract is an active ingredient extracted from the fruit acerola cherry of M. emarginata of Malpighiaceae. It contains protein, sugar, fruit acid, vitamin A, b1chemicalbook, B2, vitamin C, nicotinic acid, calcium, phosphorus and iron. It has good anti anemia, anti fungal and anti genetic toxicity, and strong scavenging ability of superoxide anion free radical, hydroxyl free radical and DPPH · free radical. It can be used as a natural antioxidant in food, cosmetics and health products industries.
Distribution range
At the beginning of the 20th century, coniferous cherries were introduced from tropical America to Hawaii in the United States, In the sandy land in the northeast of Brazil, there are many planted and wild Brazilian large cherry trees. Now Brazil has become the largest planting and exporting country of coniferous cherries. Some botanists have tried to introduce coniferous cherries into China for planting, and have tried to plant them in tropical areas such as Yunnan, Guangxi and Guangdong, but none of them survived. It is only planted in small areas in Taiwan, Hainan, Sansha and Shenzhen.
